Greenville takes advantage of the pop-up sensation popping up throughout the nation with a mobile food truck and vendor block. Called “The Spot,” located in central Greenville, brings life and a business district back into the town devastated by the Dixie fire just one year ago this August. Over ten pop-ups call The Spot home, including a burger joint called Region Burgers and a coffee stop known as Valley Grind. The project was made possible by a 78,000-dollar grant from the Almanor Foundation and other partners. A thrift, pet, and hardware store are additional stores expected to join soon.
