Plumas County hosts a very successful Law Enforcement Fair in Graeagle with over 200 people in attendance. The fair was modeled after that of Modoc County and was well supported throughout the law enforcement community. Agencies that attended included CHP, PCSO, USFS Law Enforcement, California Fish and Wildlife, California State Parks, and Cal OES Law Enforcement. Public information officer chandler Peay with the Plumas County SO said the event was an excellent opportunity to bring the community together to get to know the people behind the uniform. The free event was so popular that the department plans to host the event annually.
