A suspicious package has closed a section of highway 395. The Lassen County sheriff’s office closed the section between East Johnstonville road and the Susan River Fire Hall after Caltrans road workers found the suspicious package in a ditch near Johnstonville Quality Foods. You will come to roadblocks and be diverted. Nearby businesses have been evacuated out of an abundance of caution. The Washoe County Bomb Squad is expected momentarily if not already on scene. As soon as the threat has been cleared the roadway will re-open.
