Modoc County is under a red flag warning today issued by the National Weather Service in Medford Oregon. Gusty winds have the potential to contribute to fire spread and include the areas of Alturas, Canby, the Warner mountains, and parts of the Modoc National Forest. The warning is in place from 1 pm tomorrow through 8 pm for abundant lightning on dry fuels.
