A 3 million-dollar Caltrans project is bringing delays in Sierra County along SR89. Work began on Monday and will impact your drive between Sierraville and Sattley. You will see one-way traffic control from 7 am to 7 pm throughout the week with occasional weekend work. Hat Creek Construction of Burney is the contractor on the project and will be repaving the highway from south of Wilson lane near Sierraville to north of Meadow lane near Sattley. The project is expected to impact your travel through August when work is completed.
