A public hearing on cannabis activity in Westwood is set for the Lassen County Board of Supervisors meeting tomorrow, July 19, 2022. Applicants for a use permit were disapproved by Planning Commission action on June 7. The two applying for the permit have proposed to open a cannabis dispensary on the corner of Mooney Rd. and SR 36. The supervisors after discussion and review will grant or deny the appeal within 60 days of the June 7, 2022, filing of the appeal, as is part of the county code. The meeting will begin at 9 am tomorrow at the supervisor’s chambers at 707 Nevada street.
