Big rig involved collision kills one on US395 North of Karlo Rd. Friday, May 27th Susanville CHP responded to a head-on collision between a Toyota pick-up truck and a big rig. the Driver of the pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene, and the big rig driver, Francisco Chagol of Reno, NV was emotionally upset though uninjured. There is no known cause of the incident yet it remains under investigation. The pick-up truck driver’s identity has not been released pending family notification.
