Lassen Fire Safe Council brings a home ignition zone workshop to McArthur. You can learn how to protect your home from wildfires in the two-day workshop. The presentation stresses that homes do not have to burn in wildfires unlike other natural disasters as wildfires require “paths” of available fuel spread. By learning home hardening techniques you can help prevent ember attacks to help your home survive. Wildfire expert with Stone Creek Fire, Pat Durland will be leading the workshop. You can RSVP for the events to the Lassen Fire Safe council at 251-5560. The workshops will be held on June 3rd from 5 pm to 9 pm, and continue on the 4th from 9 am to 3:30 pm
