Today you can hear if the Lassen Planning Commission will choose to recommend to the Board of Supervisors whether or not to move forward with an amendment to Title 18, the county commercial cannabis ordinance. Just in February the supervisors shut down the latest amendment to the ordinance to allow up to 10 indoor cultivation sites within the industrial zones of the county. The proposed ordinance today will allow up to 5 use permits. You can attend the Planning commissions meeting this afternoon in the Supervisors chambers at 707 Nevada street. The commission begins the meeting at 1pm.
