You will be able to get free personal fuel wood permits now through September 30th. The Lassen national forest has reinstated the free personal use permit due to the continued impacts of the COVID19 virus. You can use your permit for up to 6 cords of firewood for personal use. You can get yours by mailing in your form from off of the Lassen national forest website. It may take up to a full week to have your returned permit in the mail.
