Plumas league of women voters will hold a series of 5 candidate forums beginning April 20th in Quincy. Leading off the series is the Plumas county district 5 supervisor race with incumbent Jeff Engle and challenger Mimi Garner, a realtor broker. The pair will be answering questions written by those who attend. At 7pm sheriff and assessor offices will face off. The remaining four forums will take place the following weekend and into the first weekend of May. The four countywide offices up for election that are uncontested have been invited to speak at each forum. You may submit questions for the candidates during the forums or you can contact the Plumas league president Jane Braxton Little at 258-9412.
