By next month the NHANES, National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey will be in Susanville. Lassen County has been chosen as one of the 15 counties throughout the nation to participate in the survey. Results from these health surveys make up the most comprehensive survey of the health and nutritional status of the US population, essentially serving as the nation’s health check up as the Director of the NAtional Center for health statistics says. Your participation can benefit you with a free health and nutrition exam, personal health information, as well as earn you monetary compensation for your time. If chosen you will receive an invitation to participate. Homes will be selected at random. You can expect to see letters in the mail within this month.
