PG&E Plans Power Outage for North County

North Lassen County will be without power overnight on Tuesday. PGE is planning an outage to upgrade a substation in Fall River Mills in Shasta County. Make sure your phones are charged and battery alarms are set prior to bed If you live in Beiber, New Beiber, and Little Valley, your power will go out starting at 11pm and last through 7am. This outage will affect around 4,000 homes in total. PG&E has committed $56 million to upgrade electrical equipment at the Pit 1 Powerhouse substation that will improve reliability for your homes. Work is expected to be completed later this year.
