This evening the City of Susanville will discuss the future of the Cannabis Industry within city limits in a special city council meeting. The City’s appointed Ad Hoc committee, formed in June of last year, has met over the course of about a year to gather findings and information about the industry and it’s impacts, benefits, and the like. The committee has even traveled to several cannabis operations throughout the state. This evenings meeting will hear an update on reports and recommendations from the committee. No action is to be made, yet you can attend to voice your thoughts on bringing the industry to Susanville. The meeting is set for 5:30 at the City Hall Chambers on North Lassen street.
