The Lassen County Probation Department and Lassen County Child and Family Services are collaborating with the CA Department of Social Services and UC Davis to complete a county self assessment. This involves getting information from stakeholders and focus groups to discover the counties strengths and areas of improvement to have better outcomes for children in and out of home care. This assessment is critical as it will determine the counties next 5 year system improvement plan. Results are expected by week’s end.
