Cattle producers get huge win in the house of representatives. Data to provide much-needed negotiation leverage has been signed into law to be more readily accessible. The house passed the Cattle Contract Library Act of 2021, co-sponsored by Representative Doug LaMalfa. The bill does that by amending the current law to make meat contracts publically reported and available.
