The deadline has come and gone to sign up for the right of Entry program offered through the state, but if you missed it, you will have more time to get registered for the county’s alternative program in Plumas county. The deadline to apply for the program has been extended to December 21st. State law requires properties damaged by the fire to be cleaned. You may face county charges for the clearing of your property if you do not get registered for the program, charges will also include administrative costs. The debris removal operations center is located in Quincy at 207 County Hospital Road.
