Prison staff vaccination mandate gets pushed back to March after appellate court issues a stay that blocks the January 12th enforcement. The 9th U.S. circuit court of appeals granted the stay request following Oakland Judge Tigar’s September court order that prison workers must be vaccinated or have a religious or medical exemption by the new year. Opening briefs will be heard December 13th and the appeal hearing will be scheduled for March of next year.
