You can apply between through next week starting Monday and on Oct. 25 and 26 by calling the local county social services office, turning in a paper application, or an online application to benefits cal dot com. Those benefits will be available within three days after a qualifying interview is made. A household of four with a monthly income under 3,000 dollars could receive up to nearly 800 dollars in food benefits.
