If you lived or worked in Lassen, Plumas, or Tehama counties between July 14-Aug. 13, 2021, you may be elibible for Cal Fresh’s disaster foods benefits if you suffered as a result of the Dixie fire. You can apply between through next week starting Monday and on Oct. 25 and 26 by calling the local county social services office, turning in a paper application, or an online application to benefits cal dot com. Those benefits will be available within three days after a qualifying interview is made. A household of four with a monthly income under 3,000 dollars could receive up to nearly 800 dollars in food benefits.
