The Central Plumas Recreation and Park District announces the appointment of Kyle Stone as its new general manager.
The district board said Stone brings valuable local experience to the role, including four years serving as recreation supervisor for the department. He is leaving his position as events manager with the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship, where he has worked for over four years coordinating a wide range of community events. These include major outdoor festivals and races such as the Lost & Found Gravel Festival, trail work weekends and youth-focused programs that introduce local students to outdoor recreation and volunteer stewardship.
A dedicated supporter of youth sports and a lifelong baseball enthusiast, Stone’s passion for active lifestyles and community programming has long shaped his work in recreation, said the district.
The district board encourages the community to welcome Stone to this leadership position as he helps guide parks and recreation programs and facilities that serve the community.
