Plumas County hosts annual community flu vaccination clinics to increase the publics access
to flu shots. This is a free service for those eight years of age and older. Clinics will take place
the week of October 19 – 23. Clinics are “drive-thru” style, no need to leave your car!
– Four clinics: Chester (19th), Portola (20th), Indian Valley (22nd), Quincy (23rd)
– Open from 11am to 1pm

– Public health departments in Sierra and Lassen counties also have flu clinics coming
up:
o Sierra Co. – Loyalton – Oct. 3rd – 10a to 12p at 100 Railroad Ave. – 530-993-6700
o Lassen Co. – 4 clinics between Oct. 8 to Oct. 22nd – call 530-251-8183 for info
These clinics provide seasonal flu shots only. It is a safe and effective way to reduce the
severity of the flu while protecting your family and friends.
