August 27th, Plumas County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to a fire reported just north of the County Annex building near County Hospital Road in Quincy.
Firefighters from local, state, and federal agencies arrived quickly. They worked to stop the fire from spreading further.
The sheriff’s office expressed gratitude for the fast and effective response from all fire crews involved.
Law enforcement is now working with federal partners to investigate how the fire started and what caused it.
