Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship announces a locals’ discount for this year’s Mountains to Meadows Endurofest, set for Sept. 10 through 13 in Quincy. Organizers have also released road utilization information for the event.
Mountains to Meadows Endurofest, featuring Grinduro and the Mt. Hough Enduro, is returning to Quincy for its second rendition. Grinduro
celebrates its foundation in Quincy with “the perfect party-to-race ratio at the ultimate California gravel race,” say organizers. The Mt. Hough Enduro continues to showcase new trail builds on Mount Hough.
Festivities include two race days, food, fireside gathering, live music and camping.
Plumas County locals receive half-price registration:
- Grinduro: $120
- Mt. Hough Enduro: $95
- Both: $170
Road use Sept. 12 and 13
Mountains to Meadows Endurofest racers will be utilizing the following roads Sept. 12:
- In Quincy: Lee Road, Bell Lane, Quincy Junction Road, Oakland Camp Road, County Road 403 (Mt. Hough Road)
- On U.S. Forest Service lands: 10M21, 10M21B, 25N14, 24N16, 25N18, 25N42, 25N29, 25N07, 10M25, 25N10Y
On Sept. 13 the race is a blind format, so a map is not available. The following roads will be used:
- In Quincy: Lee Road, Bell Lane, Quincy Junction Road, Oakland Camp Road, County Road 403 (Mt. Hough Road)
- On USFS lands: 25N14
