🚔 Driver Arrested for Felony Evading on US-395
On July 24, 2026, a Susanville CHP unit observed a Dodge Charger traveling at 130 mph, southbound on US-395. The officer initiated a traffic stop but the driver of the Dodge Charger fled and a pursuit ensued. After being pursued for over 30 miles, the engine of the Dodge Charger failed, causing the vehicle to become disabled.
The Susanville CHP units were able to safely take the driver, a 19 year old from Sparks, Nevada, into custody.
