Visitors to this year’s Lassen County Fair will have a new convenience waiting for them thanks to the generosity of two local businesses.
The Lassen County Fairgrounds has installed a new water bottle refill station, giving fairgoers, exhibitors, and other visitors an easy way to refill reusable water bottles while spending time on the grounds.
The project was made possible through donations from Copps Irrigation, which provided the refill station, and TNS Trucking, which donated the concrete needed for the installation.
Fair officials say the new amenity is another step in ongoing efforts to improve the fairgrounds and enhance the experience for the thousands of people who attend the annual fair and other events throughout the year.
The Lassen County Fair expressed its appreciation to both businesses for investing in the fairgrounds and supporting the community. Officials said community partnerships continue to play an important role in making lasting improvements that benefit fair visitors for years to come.
This year’s addition gives attendees one more reason to pack a reusable water bottle before heading to the fairgrounds.
