Work is scheduled to resume on the Lake Shasta Viaducts Project on northbound Interstate 5 near O’Brien, just north of Shasta Lake. The project will rehabilitate three bridges by replacing worn bridge deck surfaces, repairing aging concrete, replacing joint seals, and complete pavement work between the structures.
Beginning the evening of Monday, June 22, motorists should plan for nighttime lane closures Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. between the Tunnel Gulch Viaduct and the O’Brien Rest Area. No work is schedule from July 2 through July 5 in observance of the Independence Day holiday weekend
