The Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce announces it will host a roundtable discussion about Chester Park. Organizers welcome community members to gather at the chamber office, 101 Meadowbrook Loop, Tuesday, May 26, at 4:30 p.m.

Collaboration between the chamber and Plumas County resulted in a grant to support the development of a town center in Chester, say organizers. “This initiative is poised to significantly advance community health, education and a diverse array of cultural and recreational opportunities,” they say.

The town center is envisioned as a vibrant community destination, where residents and visitors alike can engage in educational events, enjoy music and sports, partake in festivals and craft fairs, participate in children’s activities, experience cultural performances and appreciate public art, said the chamber.
