Feather River College Beach Volleyball Sends Four Pairs to 3C2A Individual Pairs Championship

Feather River College beach volleyball was well represented at the 3C2A Individual Pairs Championship as four Golden Eagle pairs competed against the top teams in the state.

Representing Feather River were Teya Gibbs and Mia Rivera at the No. 1 position, Chloe Albiez and Sumer Williams at No. 2, Avary Arment and Shelby Nussle at No. 3, and Carol Manu and MeleSiale Beaman at No. 4.

Gibbs and Rivera, along with Albiez and Williams, each won their pools during the opening day of competition to advance into the championship bracket. Both pairs continued their strong tournament runs and reached the Elite Eight before being eliminated against some of the top competition in California.

Gibbs and Rivera, along with Albiez and Williams, received All State Honors at 3C2A Beach Volleyball State Banquet, again highlighting their strong seasons.

The strong showing at the 3C2A Individual Pairs Championship capped another successful season for Feather River beach volleyball and highlighted the depth and talent throughout the Golden Eagles lineup.
