On Monday, April 20th – Feather River College and College of the Siskiyous battled for 9 grueling innings in game 1 of a scheduled Double Header. Eventually, the Golden Eagles prevailed 10-9 after 2 extra frames. Brittney Byram pitched all 9 innings and struck out 15 batters along the way. Sophomore Emma Robles had a big game recording 2 hits, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI. Sophomore Catcher Mallory McKillip (Reno, NV) finished the day with 2 RBI, none bigger than the walk-off in the 9th. Outfielder McKynlee Gay went 2-5 with 2 runs scored and an RBI, while Jordan Gainey (2nd Base) was 1-3 with 2 runs scored. Feather River dominated Siskiyous in game 2, finishing the contest early (6 innings) with a 16-8 victory. The Golden Eagles maintain a 1-game lead over Lassen College with just 2 games remaining on the season. Lassen will host Butte on Wednesday, April 22nd to complete the season with Feather River College traveling to Yuba City on Thursday, April 23rd. The Golden Eagles will wrap things up on Thursday and then await 3C2A Playoff assignments. Feather River will participate in round 1 on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd
