San Leandro, Ca. – Peterson Cat (authorized Cat Dealer in northern California, Oregon, and southwest Washington) acquired the Plumas and Lassen County territory formerly served by Empire Cat (the Cat Dealer serving Arizona, Nevada, and eastern California) on April 1.
Peterson provides rental equipment through Cresco Cat Rentals and genuine Cat parts, service, and sales through Peterson Cat. The company will begin serving customers in Lassen and Plumas counties immediately from its nearby branches in Redding and Chico, with plans to open a store in Susanville in early June.
“We want to begin supporting our new customers as soon as possible,” said Todd Gilligan, Executive Vice-President of Earthmoving at Peterson. “We have two fully stocked branches nearby to see them through until we open our new branch on Riverside Drive this summer.”
