A vegetation fire has been reported near Fender Flat on the North Warner Mountains at 6:30 pm, with fire resources dispatched to the scene. The fire is estimated to be 1 to 1.5 acres in size, with smoke visible from Alturas and Highway 395 North. The fire is burning in timber and has exhibited some isolated torching.
