On the afternoon of March 25th 2026, the CALFIRE Lassen Modoc Unit will be assisting the Dow Ranch with a 40-acre Agricultural burn along Richmond Rd in the Susanville area. CAL FIRE will be using this opportunity to reduce the risk of wildfires, while also providing training for our local firefighters.
Smoke will be visible in the Susanville area during burn operations. There is no need to report this smoke to 911.
