The biggest heat has been to our south but the heat dome has expanded into Northern California giving giving most of the region well above normal highs along with record breaking heat. The ridge of high pressure is expected to start to slowly move to the southeast and break down and this will also mean a drop in our daytime highs. Despite the 15-20 degree drop it will still be above normal next week but at least the valley will be steering away from the 90’s.
