On February 1, 2026, between 1243 and 1246 am, a U-haul box truck was stolen from 268 Main Street in Chester. It is a 2017 Ford Econoline, U-haul 15’ box truck with traditional white and orange U-haul markings. Arizona License plate: AH49888
Any information, suspicious vehicles or people in the area, or any video footage from businesses or door cameras, during that time frame, please report to CHP Dispatch at 530-252-1900.
Additionally, sometime between the evening of January 31, 2026, and the morning of February 1, 2026, approximately $50,000 worth of tools and supplies were taken from the new Seneca Hospital construction site in Chester.
