The cold, but dry weather has allowed a small winter contigent of the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Pro Trail crew to continue working on Mt. Hough. The crew has primarily been focused on refining Tollgate trail thanks to funds from the Shimano-MTB Trail Born program. They’ve added 22 elevated bermed turns and 17 large rollers for drainage (and, of course, added fun) on Middle Tollgate, and are moving back up the hill to the new Upper Tollgate to build out more rock features. The dirt is prime time, and you can still catch a shuttle up to the summit through Yuba Expeditions to get in on these awesome shoulder-season conditions, but wear those layers
. High fives to the Trail Crew for their hard work!
