Feather River College Athletics reports that the Golden Eagles football team has won the American Pacific-7 Conference championship for 2025. On Nov. 8, FRC defeated College of the Siskiyous 35-14 at home to cap off what coaches call “a tremendous regular season” and earn a berth to the American Division championship.

Janerious Jackson carried the football 29 times on Saturday for 170 yards and three touchdowns. Jackson finished the regular season with 1,180 total rushing yards and has amassed 2,297 career rushing yards as a Golden Eagle.

Feather River and Siskiyous went into half tied at seven apiece and the contest remained close until sophomore Justus Nielsen intercepted a pass and returned it 75 yards for a touchdown. College of the Siskiyous, trailing 14-7 as the fourth quarter opened, drove deep into Golden Eagle territory looking to tie the contest, but the Nielsen interception completely thwarted the visitors’ plans and instead put FRC on top 21-7.

The Golden Eagles took control of the fourth quarter and added two more rushing touchdowns from Jackson, ending the season with a 35-14 victory. Sophomore Marco Casci led the team with nine tackles, part of 142 career tackles at FRC.

The Golden Eagles will travel to De Anza College on Saturday, Nov. 22, to play for the American Division championship. Game time is noon.
