The Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce reports it has kicked off a new campaign aimed at supporting local businesses impacted by ongoing road construction. The program, titled “Shop Small, Win Big,” gives shoppers the chance to win a $500 gift certificate simply by dining or shopping in Indian Valley.
Running from Aug. 1 through Dec. 1, the promotion encourages residents and visitors to keep their dollars local despite construction disruptions. Each purchase made at participating shops, restaurants or retailers earns customers an entry into the giveaway.
“Local businesses are the heart of our community,” said the chamber. “We know road construction has made things difficult, but this is our way of helping both our small businesses and the customers who continue to support them.”
Participants don’t need to do anything complicated: just shop or dine in Indian Valley, and each visit counts as a chance to win. The campaign highlights the importance of shopping small and reinforces how community support can make a big difference during challenging times, say organizers.
The winner of the $500 gift certificate will be announced after the promotion ends Dec. 1.
