Loyalton, Ca – Road Closed
Smithneck Road south of Sierra Brooks is closed due to multiple mudslides caused by the recent heavy rains. The slides are located between the first and second cattle guards in last year’s Bear Fire burn scar.
There is currently no estimated time for the road to reopen. Please stay out of the area while Sierra County Road Department crews work to address the damage.
