Fire Near Sand Canyon Burns 250 Acres and Remains Uncontained

According to CalFire, the 1-1Fire began near Sand Canyon and Belfast about 10:44 a.m. today, Sunday, Aug. 24. As of 1:40 p.m., CalFire reports the fire has blackened 250 acres, and it is zero percent contained and moving at moderate rate. No structuresare threatened. The cause is under investigation
