The Northern Sierra Air Quality Management District invites the community to join Plumas County District 1 Supervisor Dwight Ceresola for a town hall meeting at the Grange Hall in Vinton Thursday, Aug. 28, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Meeting topics include
- Updates on wolves in Sierra Valley
- Sierra Valley Groundwater District update
- Local responsibility area ordinance
- Increasing Firewise communities in Eastern Plumas County
Newly appointed Sheriff Chad Hermann and Beckwourth Peak Fire Protection District Chief Jack Rosevear will attend the meeting, which will be moderated by Mikki Battaglia, of the Northern Sierra Air Quality Management District.
Battaglia encourages the public to join and ask questions related to the highlighted topics for the night. If time permits there will be an open question-and-answer period at the end of the meeting for nonagendized topics, she said.
