This adjustment will take effect on October 11, 2025, with recruitment efforts slated to begin next month.
Similarly, the Public Works Director will retire on August 30, 2025, leading to a proposed change in the position’s range to Range 176, with an annual salary of $126,962-$170,141. This change is planned to take effect on August 31, 2025.
Additionally, the Account Technician II position has been reinstated in the approved position list for council consideration. This role was reclassified in March 2025, and the 2025/2026 fiscal year budget includes the Account Technician position within the Finance Budget. The Account Technician II will operate within the Miscellaneous Unit at Range 142-146, aiming to enhance efficiencies in the city’s accounts receivables, business license program, account management, and various financial assistance programs.
