Over the weekend, one of our own, Fire Captain Ryan May, was presented with an “EMT of the Year” award by the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Chico. Captain May was instrumental in assisting a father with a home birth last Spring while serving in his current position at our Emergency Command Center in Oroville. Special thanks to the offices of Rep. Doug LaMalfa and Assemblyman James Gallagher for their recognition as well. Your CAL FIRE/Butte County fire personnel are ready to respond 24/7 in the time of need.
