BREAKING NEWS! An Oregon wolf known as OR-158 has crossed into Northern Californias Modoc County! This is the first collared wolf from Oregon in over 3 years to disperse into California. OR-158 is a young male wolf in search of a mate and territory of his own, and has reportedly got into livestock conflicts. We’d like to remind the public that wolves were not reintroduced to California and have come here on their own from other states. He was originally collared by Oregon department of fish and wildlife.
