Plumas Schools To Stop Bullying with School Safety Tech

Plumas County Office of Education (PCOE) is partnering with a tech company to combat campus bullying. Through a comprehensive anonymous reporting platform offered by STOPit Solutions, a leading provider of school safety technology, the county education system aims to create a safer and more secure learning environment for students.

STOPit allows students, faculty, and staff to report incidents of bullying, harassment, and other unsafe or inappropriate behavior through a user-friendly interface that includes real-time alerts, incident tracking, and analytics. In addition, the platform provides a suite of educational resources designed to promote positive behavior and teach students how to recognize and report inappropriate conduct.

The platform will be available for all schools in the Plumas Unified School District (PUSD) and Plumas Charter School. Students and staff have received training on the system over the last few weeks, with a rollout to students expected after Spring Break.

The platform will be introduced to all schools in the district in the coming weeks. You can learn more about the platform and STOPit Solutions by visiting www.stopitsolutions.com.
