An incident report was filed regarding a theft at the Southeastern Provisions meatpacking plant on Helton Road in Bean Station, Tennessee. The theft came to light when two customers reported missing shipments. Upon inquiry, Southeastern Provisions learned that their shipping contractor had subcontracted the delivery to a company named “List Trucking Sales.”
However, when the shipping contractor attempted to contact “List Trucking Sales” and their dispatcher, “Ahmed Wengy,” they found them unresponsive, prompting them to involve the police.
The investigation revealed that “List Trucking Sales” was not verified by the meatpacking plant before loading 80,000 pounds of beef, valued at $350,000, onto two trucks destined for Michigan and Kentucky. Authorities have not released information on any arrests or charges related to the case, and they suspect that “List Trucking Sales” is a fictitious entity since their information could not be verified.
