Contested offices in Plumas County will take center stage in a series of forums to feature the candidates in the June 7th primary. The League of Women Voters of Plumas is planning to host five forums. Those will be held throughout the county with the first happening in Quincy. Then Graeagle, Portola, Chester and Indian Valley. The offices that are being contested include county assessor, sheriff, and District 3 and 5 supervisor. Other office holders have been invited to make statements as well. You can plan to attend the Quincy forum on April 20th.
