The International Norton Owners Association (INOA) is set to host the Feather River Rally III at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy, California, from June 16 through 21, 2025. This event marks the third time Quincy has hosted this rally, following successful gatherings in 1996 and 2016. The rally is expected to attract over 300 enthusiasts of Norton and British motorcycles from North America and beyond.
Nestled in the High Sierras and approximately 85 miles north of Lake Tahoe, Quincy offers a picturesque backdrop for the event. The fairgrounds provide facilities for RVs, trailers, and tent camping, as well as amenities like clean showers. In addition, Quincy offers local accommodations, including motels, campgrounds, stores, and restaurants.
The rally, organized by the Northern California Norton Owners Club, a chapter of the INOA, invites fans of British, classic, and vintage motorcycles. Participants can engage in a host of activities such as organized rides, dinners, technical sessions, and field events. The event will also feature a concours motorcycle show, open to the public, where attendees can admire and vote on motorcycles in various categories.
Scenic rides are a highlight of the rally, showcasing routes to locations such as Lake Almanor, Mt. Lassen, and other mountain lakes. Plumas County destinations like Bucks Lake, La Porte, Graeagle, and Downieville will also be featured. Midweek, Quincy residents can enjoy watching a parade of over 100 motorcycles as participants ride through town toward the Lake Almanor Basin.
Overall, the rally promises an engaging experience, blending the charm of classic motorcycles with the beauty of Plumas County’s landscapes, offering both attendees and local residents a chance to enjoy the event’s unique atmosphere.
