Countdown to the Downieville Classic: Registration Opens February 19

Bookmark your browsers and mark your calendars for Sunday, February 19th at 8 p.m. PST! That’s when registration opens for the 25th anniversary Downieville Classic Festival & All Mountain World Championships, presented by Santa Cruz Bicycles.

The Classic takes place over the weekend of July 13-16, 2023—the XC race is on the 15th, followed by the Downieville Downhill for the All Mountain category on the 16th. We can’t wait to bring back this iconic race and festival for a full weekend of racing, revelry, live music and all-around good vibes and good people in the mountains.

The Classic is also one of the Stewardship’s biggest fundraisers of the year, with all profits supporting the work our Pro trail crews do to maintain the entire Downieville trail network, as well as trails throughout the Sierra Buttes region.
